Head Coach
We are thrilled to have KAREN AMMON back for another season as our Head Coach.  Karen's swam for many years growing up in California, setting every school record and set 4 league records in High School.  She then attended the University of Michigan where she continued to swim and received her B.A.  Karen currently coaches for 2 other swim teams; a competitive year round team STARS, as well as the Grandview High School Boys Team.  Those who know Karen, know she does all of this with the goal of creating a love for swimming in each swimmer, all while managing a busy household and her own four swimmers.

Meghan Ammon
Hey Sharks! I'm Meghan returning for my second exciting year as a coach with Chapparal.  I was an ace as well as a swimmer for the team for 3 years prior to becoming a coach.  I learned to swim very young and have been competing since I was 10 years old.  and currently swim on 3 teams: The Chapparal Sharks (of course!), the Colorado STARS, and Grandview High School Girls where I am going into my senior year.  Swimming has been a very important, motivating, and fun part of my life and I hope to get to know all of the swimmers on the 2008 Chapparal team.  But most importantly I hope to have FUN!!
